Exploring Cannabis & Exercise

Can Cannabis Increase Physical Activity? With Vanessa Stallsmith Shapiro

Whitney

Hello and Welcome back to Exploring Cannabis and Exercise. The podcast where the anecdotes meet the data.

This week I am so excited to highlight Vanessa Stallsmith Shapiro who is a doctoral candidate at Colorado State University and currently seeking participants for her dissertation exploring how cannabis influences the experience of physical activity in people who use cannabis regularly but are not very active. She will talk about how the study came to be, what’s expected of the participants, and why the results will be important.

More info in this link about the study and who is eligible to participate:

**Friendly reminder/disclaimer** I am not suggesting everyone use cannabis with exercise. Cannabis is definitely not for everyone. But if you're curious about your own use, understanding more about why people use cannabis with exercise, or want to learn about the latest research in the field, you're in the right place. Make good choices out there.
