Exploring Cannabis & Exercise

Don't Let it Smoke You with Tarris Batiste

Whitney Episode 8

This week I'm talking with Tarris Batiste who wrote the book "Don't Let it Smoke You: How to Create a Nontoxic Relationship with Cannabis".
We talk about the influence of high school basketball players in starting to smoke weed, smoking (and getting in trouble for smoking) as a college football athlete, and ultimately Tarris' evolving relationship with weed. At some point he realized that maybe cannabis wasn't a great addition to his life and his advice for anyone out there - "don't let it smoke you".

**Friendly reminder/disclaimer** I am not suggesting everyone use cannabis with exercise. Cannabis is definitely not for everyone. But if you're curious about your own use, understanding more about why people use cannabis with exercise, or want to learn about the latest research in the field, you're in the right place. Make good choices out there.
